The Relais del Maro exceeded even great expectations! From the warm welcome, to the beautiful room, and on to the gourmet breakfast, ALL expectations paled compared to the reality that our stay at the Relais was one of the loveliest ever. The town's church across from the Relais is especially picturesqe at night with the bells ringing over the quaint, quiet village. Our room was decorated beautifully, giving the suggestion of earlier times, but equipped with all state-of-the-art conveniences.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was just perfect, nestled on the hills behind the Ligurian Sea. The view from our room was stunning, overlooking the small town below and the picturesque stream. The staff here were extremely friendly and provided us with lots of helpful information about the surrounding area and places to visit. They even booked tables for us at the recommended local restaurants. The room itself was a great mix of rustic charm and modern amenities, with comfortable furnishings and everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

relais del maro in borgomaro exceeded our expectations. the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable with nice design touches. the breakfast and afternoon tea with freshly baked cakes were delightful. we loved the pool and terrace overlooking the river and church. a truly special experience.

Relais del Maro is among the best accommodation at which we have had the pleasure to stay. The reconstruction of the building and the decor is beautifully done. The attention to detail is stunning. Not a single thing.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was super friendly and gave great suggestions for sightseeing. The breakfast was one of the best I've had, with almost everything locally sourced, and I loved enjoying it in the lovely garden overlooking the town.

We didn't know what is perfect until we saw this place, the staff are amazing, the room was fantastic. The location is beautiful! Near the big cities but in a lovely pastoralic small town. Food was much better than other european hotels. We got far far more than what we expected

Stayed there for Christmas and it was absolutely gorgeous. The decorations were stunning and made the whole experience very festive. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of local products. The hotel is situated in a peaceful village, which allowed for a relaxing stay. The staff was helpful, attentive, and gave plenty of suggestions.

The location is a bit far from the beach, so if one is going for a beach holiday, it may not be the best option. the village is quite small, so there are not many options for dining or entertainment in the immediate vicinity.

Nothing to fault.

It's a very beautiful hotel, with lot's of attention to small details. The owners are extremely thoughtful, and every little detail immediately taken care of. The little town is quite charming, not much to do, a very typical italian village. Very nice restaurants nearby within walking distance and the drive down to different beaches was only 20 minutes. The hotel also has an amazing breakfast buffet with lot's of homemade things. I have never seen such a nice breakfast in all of Italy!

This hotel is a great escape from the craziness of the city. The location is perfect, not too close to the coast but with a fantastic view of the hills. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the outdoor pool area is amazing! They also have an outside jacuzzi, which is a great plus. the food is tasty and freshly made, with affordable prices.

The hotel shuttle service ends quite early, at 8 pm, which is a bit inconvenient. if planning to go to the nearby village, the taxi can be quite expensive.
